Thirsty for Love, Sex and Murder

Mehmet Aslan, director of the always interesting Turkish genre cinema, already behind the camera for some of Tarkan films series (a Hun hero, taken from a Turkish comic of great success) and several other genres, takes the path of the thriller. And he does it, as mentioned with the remake the strange vice of Mrs. Wardh" concentrating all in 58 'minutes of history, sometimes by copying the scenes and sometimes inventing it.
A result that show from one side a certain effort (in the copied scenes) and on the other side many craziness (in the invented scenes). The serial killer who bursts in the scene by jumping from a tree that there isn’t seeming in fact a ninja, leaving room to the blood less credible of cinema and especially to an absolute chaos in the soundtrack.  As we know for the Turkish copyright isn’t a real problem and also here there are many songs taken from the original movie, added by chance to others. By chance yes, because the music start and suddenly end up, is present in some moments that don’t’ need comments and is a mix of genres and style. A choice that destroys all the ambitions which partly Aslan shows and his actors trying to repeat in the scenes. The interpreters are willing but the result is not the best even in the field of acting, however, it remains the best aspect of this film.
We all know the story while the protagonist Meral Zeren which takes the place of Fenech, although isn’t at her height doesn’t look bad. The cast is completed with other famous actors in Turkey, as Yildirim Gencer. The movie don’t miss some erotic scenes, as in the original film.
