The hard work of
stripper ensures that once again a group of strippers have some problems with the
classic zombie invasion. This time, however, we are in Japan, we are in 2010
and the director is the crazy Takao Nakano that we have already see for
"Sumo Vixens" and "Killer Pussy Sexual Parassite”.
Thanks these words
and also thanks to the international title "Big Tits Zombie" (very
commercial and trivial) this movie might seem the Japanese answer to
"Zombie Strippers!” Actually "Kyony? Doragon: Onsen zonbi vs
sutorippaa 5" (literally "Big Tits Dragon: Hot Spring Zombie Vs.
Stripper 5"), takes inspiration from the manga of "Kyonyu Dragon" of 2004 by Rey
Mikamoto and it goes proudly into the Japanese craziness of which the director
has shown to be a good ensign.
Nakano set the
structure of his work as a tribute to the "Grindhouse" and to
contemporary directors such as Tarantino and Rodriguez, quoting at the opening,
misspellings aside, Sergio Leone, with a phrase taken from "Per un Pugno
di Dollari".
The rest follow the
channels of the "Japanese craziness" a mix of craziness bad taste and
blood with fast shooting and a good use of digital (and not) special effects.
For about twenty
minutes in "Big Tits Zombie" nothing happens. We see the weary life
of a group of strippers who have very little work. Then we begin to see
something. As one of them who for punishment becomes a human table for sushi eat
by a freak group of sumo wrestlers who hired the girls for a show. And things
change. Back into their club the girls discover a secret passage that leads to
a basement where one of them opens a book and reads a spell. From that moment,
everything comes back to life, from sushi to the traditional dead of the
cemetery, who are a huge selection of traditional and modern Japanese culture,
which is clearly a successful satire of the society.
So here start the
classic battle of strippers vs. zombies. And it is needless to say that while
the strippers smash in every way in a river of blood of the living dead the
zombies as agreement slaughter a the strippers. As a small variation is that
one of the girls perhaps showing her tits or saying a few words magic can lead
some zombies.
A whirlwind of events
fast, zany at times, which brings us to the top scene. A zombie stripper who
shot fire (never seen a zombie like her before) from the vagina. Some undead
maniac ripping costumes, complete the insane framework set up by the good
Nakano.
"Big Tits
Zombie" is as usual an enjoyable Japanese craziness that differs in some
points from the manga from which it takes inspiration. Difference in the
construction of the characters and especially the creation of the event. Here everything
is due to a magic formula, while in the manga it remains unknown.
The cast consists of
some "AV Idol" led by superstar Sola Aoi, and is notable for the
presence of the director, actress and screenwriter of "Pinku Eiga"
Yumi Yoshiyuki.
